Marshall County, Alabama is home to numerous outdoor recreation areas including Lake Guntersville State Park, Cathedral Caverns State Park, and Buck’s Pocket State Park.
Lake Guntersville in particular is a major draw, with world-class bass fishing tournaments and international recognition. The cities of Guntersville and Albertville are also seen as up-and-coming areas for young families and retirees alike.
Deliver best-in-class tourism website design supporting the Explore Lake Guntersville brand, while promoting recreation, dining, hospitality and diverse tourism assets.
A separate, co-branded companion website was also needed to market sports-tourism, as well as a comprehensive visitor’s guide.
After investing in rebranding, Marshall County Tourism & Sports needed to “make a splash” with modern, UX-focused websites.

The sports tourism-specific website leaned in more heavily to that audience’s unique tastes and expectations.
