The Partnership

Designed by Andres Duany, a world-renowned new urbanist planner, Town Madison spans 563 acres in the heart of the Tennessee Valley.

Considered one of the premier mixed-use developments south of Nashville, TN and north of Birmingham, Alabama, Town Madison connects beautiful living accommodations, play spaces and regional attractions for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The community is also home to the Rocket City Trash Pandas at Toyota Field.

The Challenge

To realize Town Madison’s potential as a major regional destination, developers needed branding and a scalable website that could “grow over time” through multiple phases. They also needed modern consumer-focused location marketing to attract and sustain residential, retail, and attraction interest.

Content would need to highlight stakeholder partners across the community’s distinct Districts while advancing Town Madison’s own brand and value proposition.

The Solutions

Town Madison’s brand identity was designed to convey vibrancy, excitement, and life – all the things that residents and visitors alike would feel there. In web development, Red Sage focused on showcasing the full scope of Town Madison’s offerings, while providing clear pathways to various interests including restaurants, shops, attractions, hotels, and living options.

For ongoing location marketing through content, our team has leveraged the latest social content trends, capitalizing on short-form video and user-generated content to draw in diverse demos.

The Results

  • Brought in new-to-Alabama retail brands and fresh concepts that significantly boosted foot traffic.
  • Website engagement kept climbing, growing from roughly 1,300 to 3,800 page views per month over the measured period (6/30/20–7/1/23).
  • Achieved an exceptionally low 21.23% bounce rate, showing the site’s content and navigation are dialed in to what visitors actually want.
  • Social reach surged over an 18-month window (6/30/22–12/31/23):
    • Facebook: +97%
    • Instagram: +113%
