Third Time’s the Charm: Red Sage Wins Third Award for Land Trust of North Alabama Website

Red Sage, a leading website creator, celebrates winning the prestigious 2024 WebAward for Best Recreation Website for the Land Trust of North Alabama. Our work for the Land Trust of North Alabama continues to receive recognition. This is the third major award for the website. Earlier, it was recognized as an honoree at the 28th Annual Webby Awards and won the X Interface & Navigation at the American Advertising Federation of North Alabama’s ADDY Awards. These back-to-back-to-back awards highlight our team’s dedication to creating outstanding digital experiences for North Alabama’s most cherished nature preserve.

Earlier this year, the Land Trust of North Alabama’s website was recognized by the Webby Awards. It was honored in the Community category from a competitive pool of over 13,000 entries worldwide. Now, with the Best Recreation Website award, the site has been further solidified as a standout.

Additionally, one WebAward judge praised our work. The judge stated:

“Beautiful and visual site — exactly what you’d expect from a nature-based website. Adore the videos.”

This recognition emphasizes the website’s engaging design. It offers an immersive experience through captivating video content that showcases North Alabama’s stunning landscapes.

Reflecting on these three awards, Red Sage’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Michelle Stark, said:

“Earning the ADDY, Webby, and WebAward recognition for the same project is an incredible accomplishment. It’s a testament to the hard work, creativity, and strategic thinking our team put in. Our goal was to build a website that reflected the Land Trust’s mission and inspired visitors from their first click.”

Website Development Supporting North Alabama’s Natural Treasure

In 2023, we launched the Land Trust’s website with a focus on improving user experience. The website now has a modern design and simple navigation. Visitors can easily explore trails, participate in events, and contribute to conservation efforts. Its innovative features help keep users engaged while enhancing their experience.

Moreover, this project is part of an ongoing collaboration between Red Sage and the Land Trust. We are continually refreshing their branding to connect with long-time supporters and new audiences.

The Land Trust of North Alabama manages over 80 miles of public trails across 10,000 acres. Their mission focuses on conservation, education, and recreation. Thus, the new website reflects these values while encouraging visitors to explore North Alabama’s beautiful landscapes.
