Red Sage started blogging this year, and some of us are less than thrilled about it. I won't point any fingers, because when I point one at Kelli there'd be three pointed back at me, and that would be fairly accurate. The way this blogging thing works is each week one of the Red Sagers writes a post about his or her area of expertise. This is the last time my name comes in rotation before the new year. And for that reason, I'm taking a few liberties with this post. As I'm writing this, Dragon Lady doesn't even know what it's about.

Websites are not a "build it and they'll come" project. I've come to realize over the last few months that a lot of people are forgetting this very important fact. No matter how great the site is, it can't live up to its potential without a little more work afterwards. You would think that the idea of promoting your website would be a pretty obvious thought, but even the best of us tend to forget to do it when we get wrapped up in the day-to-day operations of our business.
